To support GE Hitachi’s small modular reactor (SMR) proposal, I developed blog content and paid social media campaign aimed at influencing key decision-makers at Great British Nuclear. The campaign combined thought leadership content with targeted digital engagement to showcase the technology’s advantages over competing designs. In addition to shaping industry discourse, the initiative also focused on public education, addressing misconceptions about nuclear energy and reinforcing its role as a safe, reliable, and low-carbon power source for the UK’s energy future.

During my time at GE Vernova, I developed strategic positioning and marketing campaigns to educate stakeholders and generate interest in the company’s emerging direct air capture (DAC) technology. With DAC not yet market-ready, my efforts focused on making the complex innovation more accessible to climate-conscious investors and technology partners, highlighting its potential role in achieving broader climate goals. By clearly linking DAC to decarbonization efforts, I reinforced GE Vernova’s power industry leadership and positioned the technology as a key component of the future low-carbon economy.

To drive engagement with carbon capture and storage (CCS) policy discussions, I developed content for a series of webinars aimed at industry stakeholders and policymakers. My work included crafting compelling webinar content, writing targeted email invitations, and developing supporting webpages and documents to ensure clear, accessible messaging. The campaign positioned CCS as a critical solution for emissions reduction, effectively educating key audiences on policy implications and advancing industry dialogue on carbon management.

I developed a series of case studies showcasing GE Vernova’s role in advancing low-carbon energy solutions, from carbon capture and storage at Net-Zero Teesside Power to green hydrogen production in South Australia and high-efficiency gas turbines in Saudi Arabia. Through strategic messaging and compelling storytelling, I translated complex technical innovations into accessible narratives that engaged policymakers, investors, and industry leaders. These case studies reinforced GE Vernova’s leadership in power sector decarbonization, serving as key assets for external communications, business development, and thought leadership.

I led the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for the launch of an innovative License Plate Reader (LPR) camera, positioning it for success in a highly competitive $500M global market. My work focused on identifying market gaps, crafting clear differentiation, and developing targeted messaging to drive adoption. To support the launch, I created a multi-channel marketing campaign that generated awareness, enabled sales teams with strategic positioning, and provided potential customers with a compelling case for implementation. By aligning product value with industry needs, I helped accelerate adoption and establish a strong foundation for long-term growth.

To support EPIC iO’s vape detection solution, I developed a marketing campaign to highlight its role in promoting healthier, vape-free environments while ensuring privacy. Targeting key decision-makers in education, transportation, and public spaces, the campaign positioned the solution as an innovative approach to enforcing no-smoking policies in secluded areas like restrooms and stairwells. My work included crafting messaging that emphasized the technology’s ability to detect both nicotine and THC, issue real-time alerts, and integrate with video surveillance for incident investigation. Through a combination of blog content, social media promotion, solution briefs, and sales enablement materials, I helped drive awareness and adoption of the technology among schools, businesses, and public facilities.

I developed a series of industry-specific use cases to showcase how EPIC iO’s solutions address key challenges across diverse sectors. This project involved persona development to define target decision-makers and audience segmentation to tailor messaging for maximum impact. By identifying customer pain points and mapping the buyer journey, I crafted compelling narratives that aligned each use case with industry-specific needs, ensuring relevance to stakeholders ranging from IT directors and facility managers to school administrators and security officers. These use cases served as critical assets for sales enablement, demand generation, and content marketing, helping position EPIC iO’s technology as a strategic solution for businesses, schools, municipalities, and other organizations.

Volunteering my professional skills for a personal project, I led the development of a new website for my roller derby team designed to attract athletic talent, engage loyal fans, and secure sponsorships. I wrote all website copy to clearly communicate the team’s mission, culture, and opportunities for involvement, ensuring a compelling and cohesive brand voice. In addition to writing content, I built the site’s information architecture for intuitive navigation, making it easy for visitors to explore team history, game schedules, recruitment details, and ways to support the league. I also established a distinct brand identity, defining the team’s voice, style, and color palette to create a cohesive online presence. This project helped Greenville Roller Derby enhance their visibility, expand community engagement, and grow its support network both on and off the track.

To communicate Encore Technology Group’s diverse lines of business, I created an engaging animated video that provided a quick, visually compelling overview of the company. From concept to execution, I led every stage of production—writing the script, developing the storyboard, and animating characters—to ensure a dynamic representation of Encore’s offerings. The video was designed to drive engagement by simplifying complex IT solutions and making them more relatable to key audiences, including educational institutions, businesses, and government agencies. Drawing from my broader work at Encore, where I managed digital marketing strategy, demand generation, and content creation, I ensured the animation aligned with our messaging framework and brand identity. This project became a valuable marketing asset, used across digital platforms to introduce Encore’s services in a concise and memorable way.

At Encore Technology Group, I developed a series of industry briefs designed to clearly communicate our diverse lines of business to key customer stakeholders. These briefs distilled complex IT solutions into accessible, value-driven narratives tailored to decision-makers in education, government, and enterprise sectors. By identifying customer pain points and aligning messaging with industry needs, I ensured that each brief effectively demonstrated how Encore’s solutions addressed real-world challenges. These materials became essential tools for the sales team, equipping them with resources to engage prospects, build credibility, and drive informed decision-making.

About Me

When not at work I love the athletic challenge and competitive nature of playing for Greenville’s roller derby team (I also volunteer behind the scenes on their website, social media, and graphic design projects). I like to get outside whenever I can, checking off waterfall hikes in my little corner of the Southeast. I love to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen and am currently perfecting my Thai peanut sauce. I have a soft spot for tortoiseshell-colored cats.
